Buckeye swimmers have a unique opportunity to assist disability athletes at a meet. Our own BKYS swimmer – Richard and Arden – will be traveling to compete in the meet held May 11-12 in Cincinnati.
By volunteering, you will help these athletes realize that their disabilities are not dead ends; rather, they are intersections that allow them to see the many other opportunities to realize their abilities and achieve success.
You may be asked to time, assist in making sure athletes are behind the blocks and ready to swim, or other meet duties. You will also be able to gain service hours. Saturday evening (4p-8:30p) is available for us to assist as well as Sunday morning (8a-noon:30).
