Stay Well
It’s getting to be that time of year. While many germs are currently frozen, they’re just in suspended animation (more science!). Round 2 of flu, hacking, coughing, sore throats, etc. is just around the corner.
I still recommend Wellness Formula to keep your immune system zipping along. You can purchase locally (Raisin Rack – corner of Schrock and Cleveland in Westerville) or you can order on Amazon (and BKYS will receive a rebate). I would provide an Amazon link, but you need to click the banner here first then search for Wellness Formula so we get the credit.
And please remember: just because it will be 30 degrees warmer tomorrow, it’s still only 25 degrees. Stay bundled up.
Here are a few tips for the back-to-school adventure:
- Wash your hands every time you can
- Take your own water and don’t refill from water fountains (just gross)
- Don’t touch anything you don’t have to
- Save science for chemistry lab – don’t share germs to conduct your own experiment
- Get plenty of rest
- Drink as much water as possible
- While I want you to be at practice, if you are sick, STAY HOME and do something aerobic on your own (treadmill, bicycle, elliptical, etc.) We love you, but we don’t want what you have!!!
Polar Vortex Science
Here you are – a little science to keep your brain fresh (and maybe get a brain freeze) on your extended break.
